Aidpage

I visit aidpage pretty much everyday now. I just want to tell every one to keep their head's up. You haven't actually lost everything until you give up. Keep on trucking. :)

I'm happy bc tomorrow is V-DAY! That means all the v-day candy and crap will soon be out of stores! Yay!! No. this is not bc I'm single bc I'm not. I've been in a relationship for 4 years now. I just can't stand a day where people expect material things from the people they love. It's silly and I'm not sure how some people I consider to be very smart still buy into it. Sorry, you keep that silliness and I'll keep my money. You should share your love everyday.

Hello, again. Happy Belated Birthday!! :) I'm sorry to hear that the people closest to you didn't pay any attention in your direction. Don't let that get you down though. There are plenty of people on aidpage and in the world who care about each other just because they can. So there's plenty of love to go around. :D Have a great day, buddy.

Today I feel so lucky for the people in my life. A nod to family, of course and giving my friends. Things have definitely been a struggle for me and my bf but they never got too dark. They never had a chance to because we have wonderful caring people who surround us. Just last night, my sister forgave a debt I owed her. I needed it for my phone and insurance and she just said forget it! You owe me nothing!! She is fortunate enough to be well off and I'm happy she a gracious enough to share that. My family is blessed and I'm blessed to have a great family. Things are still shady for us and will be for a while but it helps to know that somebody cares. It makes it easier to hold my head up even when I don't feel like it.

Hello. I'm nt sure how close you are to mexico but have you considered getting work done over there? it would definitely be much cheaper.

 in response to NishQuiche...   Yea, we live with my bf's sister and haven't had our own place for too long. That, of course comes with it's own frustrations but at least we have people in our lives care enough to open their home, ya know? I'm not gna lie; sometimes i see other people with things I feel they don't deserve it or haven't earned and it pisses me off but nobody owes my anything. We gotta make our own ways and just hope with perseverance that things get better. Things may get worse before they get better but even though it's hard just give a thought to the things you do have in your life; it could be much, much worse. Good luck to you and yours.

My bf and I have been getting paid for plasma but we are still looking for work. It's of course, not happening as fast as we had naively hoped. It's been 6 months for him and 8 for me. I suppose there's some sort of lesson in all this; I'm just having a hard time finding it right now. It's getting harder to keep my chin up and keep moving forward..all the rejection makes me feel like we are unworthy....@ least I have tomorrow.

 in response to childofgod1000...   I guess you have never been in deep south Texas. Unfortunately not a lot of the mom and pop businesses near us are willing to do that. Believe me...we've tried. They looked at us like we were crazy. :/ We do what we can... thanks though.

Things got slightly worse before they got better. The other day we went to Mexico and found out my bf has a severe infection due to a cracked tooth. If left untreated it could spread to his brain lk any other infection close to the brain. I was scared of course. My father agreed to pay for any medicine and work he needed done which I was relieved and so thankful to hear. On top of that yesterday, my bf went out to give plasma which so far seems like it'll give us the extra cash we need. I am so happy things have are looking better. Today, I can breathe, :) Gd luck, everyone.

Hello. :) I'm in need of $75 to finish covering my rent for another month and keep my phone on to get a job. I can't get a job without my phone....unless I try the 2 cans and a string thing but that's an adventure for another day. :p Anyways, I'm very confident that things will pick up from here so this little help would put me right back where I need to be. Of course, once all is said and done I'd plenty happy to pay it forward. Thank you for reading.
